Spencer Chretien
Spencer Chretien serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for U.S. foreign assistance in Europe and Eurasia, Holocaust issues, press and public diplomacy, and policy and global issues. From 2025-2026, he was the Senior Bureau Official for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration. In the first Trump Administration, Spencer served as Special Assistant to the President and Associate Director of Presidential Personnel and as a political appointee at the Department of Housing & Urban Development. A native of northern Virginia, Spencer is a graduate of The College of William & Mary.
