Spencer Chretien

Spencer Chretien serves as Senior Advisor in the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration and was the PRM senior bureau official from 2025-2026. In PRM, he works to reduce illegal migration and seek long-lasting solutions to displaced people around the world. In the first Trump administration, he served as Special Assistant to the President and Associate Director of Presidential Personnel from 2020-2021 and as a political appointee at the Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2019-2020.  A native of northern Virginia, Spencer is a graduate of the College of William & Mary.
