Matt Pierce is the Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs.  He has served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Passport Services since November 2024, overseeing Passport operations for the U.S. Department of State. Matt has served in a variety of roles in Passport Services since 2007. He is an alumnus of Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida and a native of Staten Island, New York.
