John Hutchison

John Hutchison began his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Los Angeles where he earned his CPA while working on Audit & SEC Compliance, Forensic Accounting, IPOs, and counting the ballots for the Academy Awards (Oscars). John then worked as a Film & TV Executive in the Entertainment Industry beginning with The Walt Disney Company, Fox, Universal and the other major Hollywood Studios working in Strategic Planning, Finance, Accounting, and Operations. During his time as an Entertainment Executive, John also worked on Mergers & Acquisitions of major Studios, Internet dot coms, Social Media, and other HighTech companies; and integrated their operations into the acquiring Entertainment Company. Mr. Hutchison also taught business classes on the weekends as an Adjunct Professor. While in college, he interned for PricewaterhouseCoopers and worked for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Committee.

John has in worked in several Presidential Administrations (Reagan, Bush-41, and Trump-45) as well as in Presidential politics. He has supported and advanced over 20 international visits by the White House of said Presidents; along with their respective Vice President. John had political appointments at the White House and the State Department. While at the State Department during the 4 years of President Trump’s first term, John was an Advisor in the Under Secretary of Management and the Senior Accountable Official. John worked on the campaigns of President Bush-41 in 1988 and President Trump-45 in 2016; he crisscrossed the country doing Advance work organizing the campaign stops of the candidate. John also worked on the 2016 Presidential Transition Team.

John resides in Southern California and is involved in his community. He coached Little League and other youth sports along with being an Assistant Troop Leader in Boy Scouts. He is active in his local church and serves on its Finance & Audit Committee. John is currently a member of the Rose Bowl & Rose Parade Committee and is busy New Year’s Day hosting the participating Universities in the Rose Bowl Game, and helping organize the Rose Parade. He earned a B.S. in Business/Accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA in Finance with an Economics minor from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
