Ana Rosa Quintana-Lovett

Ana Rosa Quintana-Lovett is currently a Senior Advisor in the Secretary of State’s Policy Planning Office at U.S. Department of State. In this role, she manages S/P’s Western Hemisphere and migration policy equities. 

Prior to this, she served at the Vandenberg Coalition and on the Trump / Vance presidential transition team, where she was on the State Department landing team. She previously served as the Republican Staff Director for Western Hemisphere for House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX). In that capacity, she was the lead Republican advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives on U.S. policy towards Latin America and the Caribbean. She played a key role in the drafting and coalition building for several successfully enacted pieces of legislation. Ana also served as the lead Foreign Affairs Committee staffer for the Secure the Border Act, the first House passed comprehensive border security bill in decades. 

Prior to her time on the hill, she led the Latin America portfolio at The Heritage Foundation for nearly eight years and served at the Defense Intelligence Agency. She lives in northern Virginia with her husband who is a Special Agent at the Department of Defense and their two young kids.
